PET POLICY
The Gates at Rexburg only allows Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) with prior approval through our office. No other pets are permitted.
GUEST POLICY
Overnight guests are discouraged but may stay with the express written consent of the landlord and all other tenants of the apartment. Extended guest stays of more than two consecutive nights are not permitted, and a reasonable guest fee may apply; guests must be the same sex as residents and comply with the BYU-Idaho Honor Code and Apartment Living Standards.
LEASE TERMS
Our semester-based leases are tailored for BYU-I students. All utilities are included, with no guarantor needed for residents over 18.
Length: 1-3 Semesters
Security Deposit: $150
Guarantor: No guarantor required if resident is over 18
Insurance: Renters insurance is required. We provide insurance at an affordable rate.
Utilities: All utilities, including water, sewer, electric, trash pickup, and high-speed OPTIX internet, are included in the rent, along with premium DISH service.

What is the decorating policy?
The decorating policy at The Gates at Rexburg prohibits decorations on ceilings, window paint, and signs; no flags or paraphernalia may be displayed in apartment windows or balconies. Residents are encouraged to bring decorations to make their room feel like home, but these must comply with the specified restrictions.
What do I need to bring to my new apartment?
Residents at The Gates at Rexburg should bring bedding, personal items, kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, decorations (within policy), school/study materials, laundry supplies, and miscellaneous items like hangers and electronics, confirming specific needs like bed sizes with the office to comply with BYU-Idaho standards.
Can residents add a roommate later?
Yes, residents at The Gates at Rexburg can add a roommate at a later date, provided there is availability, by signing a lease through our office.
